nights and days in seoul

2am:

"bustling" would be a word to describe seoul at any hour of the day or night...
2am and everyone is still out shopping... not just a few random people... it could be a saturday afternoon... 7 plus floors of things to buy streets jammed full of tents and shoppers... its 24/7...

food... stopping at a kimbap place...

alleyway close to our tube station... a city of 12 million will have its alleys

images from the park around seoul tower and seoul tower itself ... seoul tower is 236.7 m high... (777ft)

waiting to take the lift up to the top

looking down on seoul

after seoul tower in search of a beer with julie ben and kasper

... seoul reminds me of eastern europe at times... we walk down into this cellar bar... all private rooms for drinking/eating... something about the decor... its like being back in lithuania... or russia... ... though i guess that the true korean thing would be for me to say that eastern europe copied korea.

...

these are just a few images ... there is so much to take in...

... and there are these revelations of unexpected news that i am needing to digest ... try to wrap my head around... the truth is... no matter where we go what we see or do... i cant help but think... "shes out there... somewhere... somewhere here in this city... " ...

... there are moments where that thought is too lonely and overwhelming
