... then to a houseparty... where our host's new claim to fame is that his flat is featured in marie claire's issue with one of the two scary olsen twins on the cover... i think it was mary kate... no ashley... no... i really cant tell them apart... no matter what they scare me...

then we... went to a hookah bar to bring in the new year's with a room full of adoptees...
... for some reason this led me to think of where ive spent every new year's since leaving home just after new year's 95...
... austria... england... austria... austria... austria... austria... lithuania... minneapolis (the most depressing one as we had no money no radio and no friends) ... austria... lithuania... buddhist retreat in california... san fran... and now... seoul...
perhaps seoul will become my new austria?
... anyways
... so now its 2008... and looking at the clock its 33 minutes into 08 in minneapolis... here its about 15.30 on new years day and we're going for tacos in a few hours...
another year come and gone...

i literally had to get a snack after i read what
